The inhalation of contaminated aerosols originating from the faeces and birth products of infected animals, most often cattle, sheep and goats, is the main route of transmission (of Q Fever) in humans. In the literature, estimates of the distance infectious particles can spread by air range from 400 m to 40 km. The ECDC risk assessment team concluded that the most sound data were from a Dutch study using a geographic information system, which demonstrated that the highest risk of infection was within a radius of 5 km from the source [8].
The highest Risk of INFECTION is within a
radius of 5 km from the source
This report was specifically prepared for and by Eurosurveillance, Volume 17, Issue 3, 19 January 2012 for the EU stating a 5 kl danger zone and any expert with knowledge in Q fever would agree emphatically.
Now 5 kilometers is a fair distance, so if you live anywhere in Beenleigh Central, or Waterford, Meadowbrook, Tanah Merah, Cornubia or right up to the Beaudesert boundary you are above background level and considered at “Clear Relative Risk”!
That’s approximately 25,000 Men, Women and Children, in” Clear relative Risk” these are not my words but the words of the Queensland Health and the evidence is overwhelming, neither the Logan City Council, Queensland Health nor any government department believe its a issue.
And Teys Australia, Beenleigh, continue to effect areas outside of their boundary placing them in breach of their DERM Licence, making the minimum effort to minimize their impact.
Distances measure 5 kilometers from Active areas at Teys Bros Beenleigh .

According to Physicians, Experts in Infectious Diseases and in my opinion, if you live inside the outer Red Line you are at Risk.

i have lived within this area for almost 20 years and have had no problems with teys. saying that i think the bigger issue is property prices every report has been written for a developer who has a interest in the closing of teys. The way i look at it we knew teys was there when we moved as did you and other property developers that was why the surrounding area was once rural so surly the problem is yours not theirs.
I have no problem living next door to Teys, I have a problem when Teys refuse to operate within their operational licence. Teys flaunt the law and do what they want, they have no duty of care and put the public at risk. Browse the website, read the evidence and then lets see what the next 20 years present themselves with.
What does their operational license say? Could you provide a link to a copy of it please?
Please read this page and its links https://teysbeenleighdanger.com/teys-derm-toothless-watch-dog/
I have nothing against cattle, I do however have a problem with Teys Beenleigh and their out dated cattle yards that are a cesspool of Disease!
