Shut Down Teys Bros Beenleigh

In my opinion it is clear the Queensland Health Department consider living within 1 kilometer of any Abattoir is extremely dangerous and a High Risk area.

To be sure, in 2012, I requested Queensland Health to review Teys Bros Beenleigh and the danger living in the area, their letter speaks for itself, (they don’t know and they don’t care) . If you read the letter,  QLD Health pass on responsibility to DERM and as shown in the DERM report, they DERM, pass on responsibility to Queensland Health.

In any event, Queensland Health recommend a 1 kilometer Buffer Zone from Teys Bros Beenleigh for ant future development….too bad for those who already live and work within 1 kilometer.

But the interesting fact is that this same health department later changed it’s opinion to agree that 5 kilometer was the real danger area.

In my opinion, if you live in wrong half of the suburb of Edens Landing, opposite Teys Bros Beenleigh, you are at High Risk!

In my opinion, if you live in housing estate of Alberi Park at Holmview, opposite Teys Bros Beenleigh, you are at High Risk!

In my opinion, if you live around Willow Park, Beenleigh, you are at High Risk

In my opinion, if you live around Emerald Park, Beenleigh,  you are at High Danger!

In my opinion, if your looking to buy or have bought in Stocklands new Residential Development ‘VALE“, you are at High Risk!

This letter from the Queensland Health Department clearly shows Teys Australia are in breach of their DERM Licence and are trying to stop anymore development that may uncover their dangerous impact on surrounding areas and even of more concern is that Queensland Health Department and Teys Bros Australia recognise the danger but nothing is being done to protect the public.

The red lines on the map below are taken from areas of activity and travel out 1 kilometer.

In my opinion, if you live within the RED Line according to Queensland Health you are at High Risk
