You can learn a lot about people by the company they keep.

In my last email, (after receiving Teys Bros Beenleigh letter from their lawyers), I publicly apologized to the Teys Family for any personal anguish they feel I may have caused them.

But it seems that their are two sets of laws that people in this industry work with, one for them and one for everyone else. One of their advertising partners has embarked on a web lying campaign that should embarrass anyone associated with it.

It’s plain to me, that Teys Australia through their marketing partners, are happy for them to blatantly lie and to hide their dangerous business practices.

  • Teys Australia are aware and acknowledge the danger that their out dated cattle holding yards pose to the general public
  • Logan City Council also are aware and acknowledge the danger these out dated cattle holding yards pose to the general public
  • Queensland Health Department are aware and acknowledge the danger these out dated cattle holding yards pose to the general public
  • Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) also are aware and acknowledge the danger these out dated cattle holding yards pose to the general public

But Teys Australia would rather hide this fact and keep the public in the dark, instead of doing something about it, and these government departments would rather bury their heads in the sand than take action for the  safety of the general public.

The Herald Sun says about William Hayes “Con Man a Beef Baron”

One of Teys Australia advertising partners is a web site called ” Meat Trade News Daily” operated by a man called “William (Billy) Hayes”.

William Hayes is described by the ABC News as a “Beef Barron Con Man” and is wanted by the  Victoria Police, the Australian Taxation Office and consumer watchdogs in NSW and Queensland for defrauding butchers and  finance companies.

The Herald Sun says about William Hayes “Con Man a Beef Baron”

Reading the full article suggests that these cattle men are above the Law and narcissistic at the best of times.

Today William Hayes lives in Argentina ( a non extradition country) and operates the online magazine as a place of gossip, lies, news tid-bits with only himself as the only source of credibility and finally, a forum to promote amongst others, Teys Australia.

In this online magazine, William Hayes goes on a irrational & comical attempt to hide and belittle the Q Fever danger, daily posting comical accusations about me in a racist and defamatory but humorous manner, and right next to every post is this exact Teys Australia Logo as seen on the left.

I have no doubt that William Hayes and the Teys company are on a first name basis and probably life long friends, this is how you learn about a company or person, by the company he keeps.

This attempt to scare me and stop me in warning the public about Teys Australia’s out dated cattle holding yards in Beenleigh, must be one of their tactics to frighten and scare off people who don’t think like them and to try and down play the warning and information of how dangerous Q fever is and the risk big business like Teys Bros Beenleigh represents to the general public.

Yes, it’s true that you can learn a lot about people by the company they keep, I look forward to the next installment from the  Beef Baron Con Man William (Billy) Hayes and the efforts to stop the public from learning about Q Fever and the risk it represents.

Now, I know Teys Australia will say that they just advertise on the site and there is nothing they can do, but that’s what they say about their out dated and dangerous cattle yards, it has nothing to do with Q fever; but the evidence says something different.

I am someone concerned about the dangerous situations like the Teys operation

      The facts are quite simple

      1. Q fever is a air borne bacterial infection. It causes flu-like symptoms such as a high temperature, muscle pain and headaches and is very dangerous; miss diagnosis is extremely common as it is often mistaken as the common flu.
In Australia Humans usually become infected by inhaling Cattle yard dust carried through the air by the wind, which can be spread up to 18 kilometers from the source.
People most at risk of getting Q fever are those whose occupation and environment brings them into close contact with livestock: Close contact can mean anything up to 18 kilometres depending on the wind.

      2. A letter from Queensland Health warn Q fever effects, can be felt up to 5 kilometres from Teys Bros Beenleigh.

      3. Teys Bros Beenleigh operational licence from the Queensland Government office of DERM dictates, Teys Bros Beenleigh must not effect anyone or anything beyond its boundaries.

In my opinion, the above points prove Teys Bros Beenleigh are in BREACH of their operational licence and operate in a dangerous and illegal manner. Queensland Governments department of DERM acknowledge their breach, the Queensland Health Department and the Logan City Council are aware of their breach and yet none have taken action to protect the public.

Our business, Beef Central, a national online beef industry news publication in Australia, also had a disturbing experience with the infamous William Hayes. His Meat Trade News Daily was harvesting news content generated by Beef Central, and publishing it on their own site, without our permission. Sites like this are called ‘aggregators’ – they simply harvest other people’s copyright-protected work, and publish it, supported by advertising. When we pointed out our copyright and asked him to cease and desist, his response was to launch into a series of personal attacks on Beef Central’s publishers, including myself – using fabrications and lies to defame, and attempt to discredit us.
A nasty piece of work, by any standards, with no moral compass. He was infamous during his period spent in the Australian meat industry in the 1970s-80s, for ripping people off.

We, for one, do not mourn his passing.
